I began working at Good Sam in January of 2016 when my twins started in the 2’s. I have had the pleasure to work with Laura Roberts in Pre-K. I also had the privilege to work with many of our Awesome teachers here at Good Sam while subbing in many different classes last year. This year I am exciting to work alongside Mrs. Frank teaching kindergarten. I studied Early/ Elementary Education at West Chester University. I then went back and received a Special Education degree at Immaculata University. I taught 6th, 4th, and 3rd, grade for 7 years before starting my family. I then became a stay at home mom to my 4 children: Anna (11), Ella (9), Ava (5), and Oliver (5). As a family, we love to read, travel and enjoy the outdoors.
My favorite thing about teaching is seeing that smile and connection when I have helped a child with something as little as zipping their coat or learning something new. My dual role as mom and teaching gives me insight into where students are coming from and where they are headed. Kindergarten is such an Exciting time of the year!
